Dr. Allen obtained a PhD in Medicine in 1978. For over 14 years, he worked at and subsequently headed a hospital’s cardio-vascular department, and treated patients with renal diseases. He had authored many scientific articles on metabolic disorders, including those linked to obesity, kidneys, arthritis, cardio-vascular and gastroenterological diseases. He lectured medical doctors pursuing higher medical qualifications. He then devoted nearly two decades to further medical research into various chronic internal diseases. Dr. Allen established Fine Treatment, UK, is the author of The Origin of Diseases Theory and the inventor of the effective devices which enable the Thermobalancing therapy.

Dr. Vasilyev received his Ph. D. (2001) and M.D. (2004) degrees from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. He then completed his residency training in Anatimic Pathology at the Massachusetts General Hospital (2007) and a Research Fellowship in Renal Pathology (2009). In 2009 he became an Instructor in Pathology at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School, and in 2013 started as an Assistant Professor in Biomedical Sciences at the New York Institute of Technology, College of Osteopathic Medicine. Jia L. Zhuo, M.D., Ph.D. is a Tenured Full Professor and the Director of Receptor and Signal Transduction Laboratory in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, Mississippi, USA. Dr. Zhuo has over 30 years’ sponsored research experience on the roles of endocrine, paracrine, and intracrine angiotensin II in the kidney and hypertension, supported by National Health and Medical Research Council of Australia (NHMRC) and National Institute of Health (NIH). He has authored >110 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters with many recognized by editorials, cover highlights, and the Faculty of 1000. Dr. Zhuo is a Fellow of The American Association for The Advancement of Science (AAAS), American Heart Association (AHA), and American Society of Nephrology (ASN), a permanent member for NIH/Center for Scientific Review Hypertension and Microcirculation Study Section. His research is currently supported by grants from National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS), and National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, respectively.

Leonardo Spatola got Medical Degree cum magna laude in 25th march 2009 at the University of Palermo, then he got Nephrology Specialization cum magna laude in 26th May 2015 at the University of Verona. He currently works as a Nephrologist in the Renal and Haemodialysis Unit at the Humanitas University in Milan (Italy). He is first author of several works indexed in Pubmed/Medline and he is referee for Kidney and Blood pressure Research Journal and Saudi Journal of Kidney Disease and Transplantation Journal.

Takeo Ishii has completed his PhD at the age of 28 years from Jikei University School of Medicine, Tokyo. He is now the co-director of Yokohama Daiichi Hospital, a central hospital of Zenjinkai Group. Zenjinkai Group is consisting from 51 hemodialysis clinics and health check up centers. He is also a reserch fellow of Department of Medical Science and Cardiorenal Medicine, Yokohama City University, Graduate school of Medicine. He received award from Japanese Society of Nephrology. The award wining study was dialysis outcome study and he read this paper at EDTA-ERA 2017.

Lavinia-Oltita Bratescu graduated from University of Medicine and Pharmacy from Timisoara, in Romania (on 2000). She completed her studies with specialization in Nephrology, in 2006. From 2007, she has worked as a neprologist in Sf Pantelimon International Healthcare Systems Nephrology and Dialysis Medical Center, in Bucharest. From 2012, she has been a chief physician of the same medical center. She completed her PhD in November 2013. She has participated in national and international nephrology conferences as a speaker and as poster presenter.

Dr. Daniel Batlle received his MD from the University of Barcelona, Spain. He completed medical residency and later fellowship training at the University of Illinois in Chicago, Illinois. After this he joined the Division of Nephrology at the University of Illinois as a Faculty member and later moved to Northwestern University Medical School also in Chicago. Dr. Batlle was Chief of the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension from 1992 to 2009 and is currently the endowed Earle, DelGreco Levin Professor of Nephrology and Hypertension at this Institution. His main focus in research is the renin angiotensin system as it relates to hypertension and diabetic kidney disease. His research includes the design of novel forms of recombinant ACE2 that are currently being tested experimentally.
